How did the Mekaverse come about?
For years, Mecha has been one of the few Japanese artists creating in the blockchain space. After numerous requests for original pieces that started out in his head and ended up in our feeds, we set out to shift into high gear in order to create a drop that involves us transferring Mecha’s current digital art work onto an Ethereum Card (ERC721). We will be expecting 8888 units (the shape of the octagon) to introduce this amazing artist’s vision to the blockchain through powerful artistic representation called NFTs (non-fungible tokens). The 8888 units are divisible by 1 eth which is unique. Each unit will have unique colour pallets and varying rarities. There will only ever be 8888, so this is a truly rare collectible.
Why Mechaverse?
We have been fans of Mecha’s work since the very beginning. If you are not familiar with his work, you should check him out on Twitter @MechaVerse. He has always been unique in what he creates, which sets him apart from most other artists in the blockchain space today. We were happy to collaborate with him on this exciting project, offering him creative input throughout its development, while allowing him to retain all creative rights to his piece(s).
So what do we have here?
The first release of the Mekaverse will bring 8888 units based on Mecha’s current collection of digital art. The drop revolves around the ratio between followers and total supply, with followers being able to purchase 1 unit per eth. Once all units are sold, this is it – no more tokens will ever be generated.

The project is the brainchild of artistic duo, Mattey and Matt_B. Two creators with a knack for creativity who have been making waves on this scene since day one! The future holds many more surprises from their creative minds – we don’t know what will come next but at least we can sleep well knowing that our eyes were treated to something beautiful today (maybe).
